Last year, we hosted the Inagural Fun Run as Running Club, a social club through SLE. This year, we have officially transitioned to  Club Running, a competative club sport through Koret. It's been a very exciting year for us, and we want to finish it off by hosting the 2nd Annual Fun Run to celebrate!

Undergraduate/graduate students, faculty/staff, and alumni are encouraged to walk, jog, or run 2.5 miles through Golden Gate Park. Each participant gets a racing bib, post-race refreshments (fruits, bars, water), and 10 CHANCES to win a $20-40 gift card to Sports Basement or A Runner's Mind, a pair of running socks, or an exercise fanny pack (Top 3 runners are guaranteed prizes)!

Sunday, April 13th @ Peacock Meadow

• 8:30am – Check-In & Race Bib Pickup

• 9am – Fun Run begins

• 10am – Winner’s Ceremony & Raffle

• 10:30am – Event ends

Last year's turnout was impressive, with over 220 registered racers and 103 participants on race day, and this year we are expecting at least double this, so bring your friends! To have over 100 runners show up in the rain was an inspiring example of the USF running community, and we are proud to provide a welcoming space for everyone...so once again, this race is FREE and open to the whole USF community.

The event begins and ends at Peacock Meadow in Golden Gate Park. Participants will walk/run 1.25 miles down JFK Promenade, and turn around to walk/run 1.25 back to the finish line.
