NIRCA League
National Intercollegiate Running Club Association
USFCA Club Running is a member of the Pacific division of the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA). With over 100 member clubs in over 30 states, our team competes against athletes from Cal Poly, Stanford, UCSB, UCLA, University of Oregon, & more. Each year, our Comp Team races in the NIRCA Pacific Cross Country Regional, with the goal of qualifying for Nationals in November.
All Club Running athletes are eligible to try out for our Comp Team. Tryouts are 1 month into Fall Semester & the Comp Team will be chosen based on results of this qualifier. This year, the Comp Team Tryouts are on September 22nd. Learn more about racing below!
*Note: Athletes not interested in racing on the Comp Team are still welcome to participate in Club Running as a non-league racer. These athletes will have access to all Club Running has to offer including: all socials & team bondings, Club Running merch, advisement of a coach, full team practices, and run in local low-stakes races where athletes can strive to beat personal goals.
